University Business & Accounting Services (UBAS) Programs is responsible for the development, program structure design, and operational support of financial training, educational outreach, and programs on behalf of UBAS and the Budget Division. This specifically includes the development and design of the Fiscal Administration Certificate Training Series (FACTS). Additionally, UBAS Programs works with UBAS and Budget Division management in the development, design, and operational support of professional development training sessions and workshops that support UBAS and Budget Division staff as well as university faculty and staff with respect to university business, finance and accounting processes. UBAS Programs is also responsible for ensuring the maintenance and update of the Finance and Administration Policy and Procedure Library (FAPL) and related aspects that enhance and improve usability of policy and procedure. UBAS Programs works closely with UBAS and Budget Division managers to develop metrics and to analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies and to track customer service and productivity. UBAS Programs also provides support to the Business Services Advisory Group (BSAG).
