The University often conducts research involving participation and/or responses from individuals. This type of research may involve compensation (incentives) for individuals for their time and, in some instances, for the inconvenience of a procedure. Compensation must not be significant enough to induce potential individuals to participate in the research against their better judgment or accept risks that are higher than they are comfortable with (undue influence).
There are a couple of different monetary options that the University offers. The Bursar’s Office takes part in offering Prepaid Visa Cards (physical or virtual) or Tango Virtual Reward cards. For further information, please click on the different options below:
