Finance Division is responsible for the development, program structure design, and
operational support of financial training, educational
outreach, and programs on behalf of the Finance Division. This specifically
includes the development and design of the Fiscal Administration
Certificate Training Series (FACTS). Additionally, the Finance Division Programs
works with the Finance Division and Budget Division management
in the development, design, and operational support of professional development
training sessions and workshops that support the Finance Division
and Budget Division staff as well as university faculty and staff with respect
to university business, finance and accounting processes. Finance
Division Programs is also responsible for ensuring the maintenance and update
of the Finance and Administration Policy and Procedure Library (FAPL)
and related aspects that enhance and improve usability of policy and procedure.
Finance Division Programs works closely with the Finance Division
and Budget Division managers to develop metrics and to analyze data to identify
opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies and to track
customer service and productivity. Finance Division Programs also provides support
to the Business Services Advisory Group (BSAG).
