Staff Representative Group Committees/Members
Each committee (Communications, Human Resources, Health & Safety, and Executive) is
empowered to investigate issues in its area of responsibility for report to the SRG.
Committees assignments are made at the May meeting and committee members will meet
beginning in July. Each committee will meet at least once every two months and report
back to the SRG.
The Communications Committee will develop and implement, subject to approval of the SRG, procedures for communicating
information to classified personnel concerning those matters which affect the general
welfare of Finance & Administration classified personnel and other non-faculty status
employees. (Such items include: random newsletter, emails, flyers, etc.)
The Human Resources Committee will take benefits, classifications, and other related issues and review current
policies and procedures and take recommendations to Finance & Administration concerning
necessary changes in such policies that can then be forwarded to the SRG administration.
The Health & Safety Committee will review and evaluate Finance & Administration policies in place or needed to
protect the health and safety of the employees, and the safe utilization of equipment
and facilities. The Committee will make recommendations to Finance & Administration
concerning necessary changes in such policies that can then be forwarded to the SRG
administration.
