Welcome to the University of Georgia Mail & Receiving Services. Our mission is to
support the educational goals of the University through efficient and effective receipt
and delivery of essential supplies and materials. We serve as the primary receiving
point for all goods purchased and for all incoming USPS mail.
Mail Services
The mail staff sort and deliver all incoming mail and packages that arrive for students,
faculty and staff. Other services include:
- Processing of outgoing departmental mail at First Class and Non-Profit
- Addressing of cards, envelopes, self-mailers, flats and magazines
- Managing your bulk mailing
Receiving Services
Receiving is involved with the day-to-day operation of accepting deliveries and delivering
goods to all departments across campus. Receiving is also responsible for returning
all packages with discrepancies (damaged goods, overages, incorrect items received,
etc). Other services include:
- Receiving Freight
- Shipping Freight
How to Recycle Toner Cartridge
We encourage departments to utilize vendor take back programs. Included in many toner
cartridge boxes are pre-paid shipping labels. The old cartridge can be put into the
box of the replacement cartridge and shipped back to the manufacturer for refurbishment.
As an alternative, if no return label is provided, cartridges can be picked up by
Mail & Receiving Services for recycling through a partnership with a local vendor.
